AgCore is a plankton farm located just 30 minutes from us in Cranston, RI, that grows premium, nutrient-dense spirulina in a series of greenhouses. This plankton is raised specifically for fish feed as well as human food, and Spirulina is hailed as a “Super-Food” with a protein content of almost 60%!

The food is air dried at low temp to allow for maximum nutrient content, unlike other foods which are oven-dried and need their nutrients to be artificially added back in after the drying process. This food is 100% natural and USA grown and produced.

Spirulina is also a natural color enhancer, it contains strong natural pigments which help fish and corals alike look their best!

AgCore offers food for your algae grazers and picky herbivores, as well as meatier foods for predator fish, and spirulina powder for fry and coral feed. Just take a look at the video below to see this food in action!

The Krisp Thick Flakes are ideal for for tangs and angelfish, any active fish that requires a high protein diet as well as a taste for algae will enjoy these, as they are a mix of pure spirulina and antarctic krill.

The Spirulina Squares are designed for herbivores to forage over a period of time, just drop one or 2 in the tank, and watch your fish devour it! Tangs and Surgeon-fish go CRAZY for these.

The Spirulina Crumble Bits (Omnivore) are great for meat-eaters and omnivores, like triggerfish, angelfish, and other medium-large predator fish. Each piece is about 2-4mm long. The Herbivore version is great for medium-large tangs, and most pieces are .5-1mm long..

The Spirulina Protein Sticks are ideal for larger meat-eating fish, and have a high protein content as well as spirulina plankton, which functions as a natural color enhancer.

Spirulina Fry Powder is great for supplementing the diet of fry, from trout and salmon to 1/2″ clown fish, this is a great food for growing and coloring your fry.
